The company is a major creator of commuter traffic and the company plays an important role in traffic-related discussions. In recent years, the company has put forward various policies and measures to improve staff’s travel conditions, but its vision and actions are often ignored by the research literature. In order to discuss the best practices of Belgian companies in transport policy, the existing research and two large-scale commuter traffic surveys in Belgium were analyzed. First, companies are classified to identify companies that are welcome by employees in promoting alternative modes of transportation. Then, determine the best practice of transportation policy through quantitative analysis. The results show that the best alternative to transportation depends on the characteristics of the company; bicycle transport is best suited to small-scale workplaces, large workplaces and companies located in densely populated areas or in the center of the city for better public transport; financial incentives in corporate traffic management, Facility provision, information dissemination and parking management play an important role.
