Throughout Chinese history, every major social change has always brought about a tremendous social progress. The most memorable one is the great revolution that took root in rural areas in the late seventies of last century. This is the key change that determines the destiny of contemporary China and the common choice of all Chinese. Thirty years ago, the Chinese people chose to change without hesitation. From the household contract responsibility system, to the later township enterprises, villagers autonomy, migrant workers into the city, professional cooperatives, the reform of collective forest rights system, the transfer of land management rights.
