I. INTRODUCTION According to the statistics at the end of 1983, the number of residents burning coal products in Shanghai was 933,475, and the annual consumption of coal products was 682,309 tons. The soot produced by these small coal-fired coal products contains sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and fly ash. And benzoquinone (a) hydrazine and other harmful substances. Although their emissions are small, the amount added together is considerable. In particular, the small coal stoves of residents have many characteristics, such as large number, wide distribution, low exhaust outlets, and poor diffusion of smoke gas. The impact on the low-altitude atmosphere is very serious, and the degree of influence of the small coal stoves exceeds that of concentrated industrial and boiler chimneys. Since the latter uses more elevated forms of discharge, it is relatively easy to dilute using the buoyancy of the gas and the relatively high wind speed at high altitude.
