Thunder shock, mushroom cloud rose red Gobi. On the night of October 16, 1964, a big shocking news broke out in China’s vast land: the success of our first atomic bomb. As for the formation of China’s decision to develop an atomic bomb and the hard struggle to develop the atomic bomb through self-reliance, it is no longer a secret. However, little is known about how to transport the first atomic bomb to a predetermined location, how to sample mushroom clouds, and how to safely send samples to Beijing overnight. Not long ago, the reporter participated in an old comrade’s symposium at a dry-clearing of the Guangzhou Air Force and had the opportunity to interview the elderly of Li Xianfeng. Reporter saw his hands have some erythema on his face, repeatedly asked, he said it was involved in the first atomic bombings by a slight radiation reaction. He was the captain and branch party secretary of the flight battalion who took part in the work of transporting, sampling and sending samples. He led the unit directly to disassemble and disassemble the atomic bomb to the forefront base. After the other unit of this unit sampled the mushroom cloud, Brave the bad weather overnight to send samples to Beijing. He intermittently announced one little-known story -
