就现存文献记载看,岭南鬼门关之称谓,大体历经“桂门关”——“鬼门关”——“老鼠关”——“魁星关”——“天门关”等沿革。汉人中原正统观、唐宋贬官文化、岭南科举及道教文化的此消彼长,皆是时人命名关口的社会内因。其中,鬼门之说,显属恶名。解读以上不同性质的称谓,既可资于得见岭南往史;传至今日,又有助于定位玉林区域文化之特色。
On the existing literature records, Lingnan ghost gate of the title, generally through the “Guimen” - “Ghost Gate” - “mouse off” - “Kuixingguan” - “Tianmen Pass” and other changes. Han orthodox view of the Central Plains, the demotion of official culture in the Tang and Song Dynasties, the imperial civil examinations and the shift of the Taoist culture are all social internal causes when people name their pass. Among them, the ghost door is obviously notorious. Interpretation of the above titles of different nature, both funded to see the history of Lingnan; spread to today, but also help to locate the characteristics of Yulin regional culture.
