Hypertension can be divided into primary and secondary hypertension, the current incidence of hypertension in our residents is increasing, has reached 200 million people with hypertension, has become the main problem affecting the health of our residents. Dopamine (DA), a catecholamine neurotransmitter present in mammals, is one of the most important neurotransmitter systems in the central nervous system. All dopamine receptor subtypes are directly or indirectly involved in urinary sodium excretion and blood pressure regulation [1]. Some studies have shown that dopamine neurotransmitter system plays an important role in the occurrence and development of hypertension. This article summarizes the role of dopamine in regulating blood pressure and hypertension by itself and other blood pressure regulation systems
