一、前言玉米自交系的双交杂种具有极高的生产力,已是众所周知的事实。但在选育双交杂种过程中,从分离和选择自交系起,经过单交,到获得优良的双交组合止,一般都要经历多年的配合力测定。这一步骤包括一系列测交、轮交和杂种比较试验等烦琐程序,成为玉米杂交育种工作中实现多快好省的严重障碍。因此,开辟一条快速而简单的测定玉米自交系配合力的途径,确实具有重大的实践意义。
I. INTRODUCTION It is a well-known fact that the bastard hybrids of maize inbreds have extremely high productivity. However, in the process of breeding crossbred hybrids, from the separation and selection of inbred lines, after a single cross, to obtain an excellent double cross combination, generally have to go through years of determination of combining ability. This step, which includes a series of cumbersome procedures such as cross-checking, round-robin and cross-breeding trials, is a serious hurdle to achieving more speed and better results in maize hybrid breeding efforts. Therefore, it is indeed of great practical significance to open up a quick and easy way to determine the combining ability of maize inbred lines.
