我出生于江南水乡。这是一方美丽而又神奇的土地,石蕴玉而山辉,水怀珠而川媚。江南水乡的山光水色、灵秀之气滋润着我的心田;那如诗如画的风景,那特有的山水纯情,那悦耳动听的蛙鼓鸟鸣,无不撩动我儿时的遐想与梦境……我自幼深受舅父(画家)朱月湖、朱白亭的影响,耳濡目染迷上了书画艺术。舅父是饱学之士,见我性喜涂鸦,勤于思考,便悉心指教。从此,我放学后,都要到舅父家学画,春去秋来十余载,为我后来的绘画创作,奠定了坚厚的基石……随着学识与年岁俱增,我在探索书画艺术过程中豁然大悟: I was born in Jiangnan Water Village.
