2013年5月29日,应山西省文化旅游产业投资促进会邀请,中华社会文化发展基金会蒋晔副秘书长、雕塑大师陈修林先生,住山西省文化厅巡视员李春荣,蒙山文化基金主任袁垒、太原市晋源区区委宣传部长高二虎、蒙山管委会主任牛莉等人陪同考察山西太原蒙山。蒙山非常神奇,山峦绵延起伏,郁郁葱葱,蓝天碧空万里,艳阳高照,待我们走近佛像时,奇观发生了!对面空中突然出现一片七彩祥云,几多变幻,之后竟然化作一条祥龙乘云而去。也许因为陈老当时没有看到,不久又在陈老注视下再资喷薄而出,蒙山开化寺住持一惟称之为“龙天护法”。蒙山太神奇了!蒙山大佛千古屹立,五百罗汉寻宗护法,这是天意,也是缘机必然。
