针对本地一些地方大操大办之风蔓延,特别是个别党员干部借机敛财的问题,山西省临汾市纪委、市委组织部和市委宣传部按照市委、市政府要求,联合出台《关于严禁党员干部借婚丧事宜大操大办借机敛财的通知》,通过创新制度机制,强化教育监督,加大惩处力度,促使全市各级各单位主动监管,干部群众共同抵制,初步形成了三部门联动、全社会共管的格局。
