以东风型机车采用整体车轮为研究对象。在车轮的材料、车轮受剪切、扭转、弯曲的辐板厚度以及轮轨间的接触应力形成破损等方面进行了计算研究。最后得出整体车轮的结构型式、尺寸等。与带箍组合式车轮相比,整体车轮有许多优点。
