(94) Why do bricks before bricklaying? At room temperature construction, bricks are always to be poured before laying masonry bricks, and the surface of the bricks is moistened to a certain extent, and then the bricks can be put on the wall. Why should bricks be watered? Reasons can be analyzed from the following three aspects. 1. Like a thirsty person, a dry brick is thirsty with water. So when the brick comes in contact with the mortar, it will quickly absorb the moisture in the mortar. Mortar will also become thinner and thicker, and fluidity will become smaller. This brings difficulties to the operation of bricklaying. It is difficult to evenly spread the mortar by rubbing the bricks to achieve the desired fullness of the mortar, thereby affecting the masonry.
