Several main methods to achieve optical radiation measurement are summarized, including the black body radiator method, the electric substitution absolute radiometer method, the self-calibrated silicon photodiode method and the absolute measurement method of photon detector quantum efficiency. The advantages and disadvantages of various methods are compared
