Objective: To investigate the relationship between EB virus latent infection and p53 protein expression in Hodgkin’s lymphoma (HL). METHODS: EBER 1 was used to detect EBER in 72 HL tissues by in situ hybridization (ISH). The expression of p53 protein was detected by immunohistochemistry. RESULTS: The positive rates of EBER 1 and p53 in R S cells in HL were 532% and 472.2%, respectively. The detection rate of EBER 1 in HL was significantly higher than that in lymph node reactive hyperplasia group (P < 0.05). At the same time, RS cells in HL contained abundant high-copy (RNA, EBER 1) content during EBV latent infection, and the positive signal was in the nucleolus. Protein membrane expression. The positive rate of attenuated p5 3 in HL lymphocytes was higher. Conclusion: The occurrence of HL may be related to the latent infection of EB virus. There may be an intrinsic link between EB virus and p53 and influence each other, and those with positive p53 protein have a poor prognosis.
