以掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA)的均匀展宽两能级模型为基础,提出一种直接求解掺铒光纤中的粒子数反转度分布以数值模拟EDFA的新方法。其优点是准确、高效、通用于各种复杂结构的EDFA和任意模型参数设置,掺铒光纤的背景损耗或者激发态吸收也能考虑在内。在精确测量掺铒光纤参数的基础上将模拟和实验结果作了对比分析并得到合理的一致。
Based on the uniform broadening two-level model of erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA), a new method for directly simulating the EDFA distribution in erbium-doped fibers is proposed. Its advantage is accurate, efficient, common to all kinds of complex structure of EDFA and arbitrary model parameter settings, erbium-doped fiber background loss or excited state absorption can also be taken into account. On the basis of accurate measurement of erbium-doped fiber parameters, the simulation and experimental results are compared and reasonably agreed.
