At the turn of the century, Chinese characters mixed with foreign languages have become commonplace. Such as CD, VCD, DVD, DNA, WTO, GDP (gross domestic product), CT, NBA and so on. These statements sometimes come from the mouth of party and state leaders, and sometimes appear in central red documents and official publications. Fortunately, it has not caused too much attention from the linguistics community and the people. However, one cannot help but ask why the Chinese characters with a history of 5,000 years of civilization have been so quietly tolerant of the intrusion of characters in the Outer Region since the establishment of the character by Cang.
