冬季奥运会是一九二四年开始举行的。它也是每隔四年一次,并与夏季奥运会同年举行。第十三届冬季奥运会,将于今年二月十三日至二十四日,在美国普莱西德湖举行。多彩的比赛项目本届冬季奥运会的比赛项目有:速度滑冰、花样滑冰、高山滑雪、越野滑雪、跳台滑雪、有舵雪橇、无舵雪橇和现代冬季两项(滑雪射击)等等。据美国第十三届冬季奥运会组织委员会宣布,目前约有三十多个国家和地区的奥委会报名参加。这届冬季奥运会将是历史上规模较大的一次。我国已报名
