美国、加拿大、丹麦等国家都有国家引导建立的育种体系或组织,几乎归集了所有的优秀种源。我国缺乏以政府组织引导为主建立的生猪育种体系,目前生猪育种的主体主要是大型企业,对进口种猪依赖性较大。据博亚和讯数据显示,2014年至今,国内种猪进口总计约8659头,只有去年同期一半的引种量,整体引种企业较往年减少了很多,今年署名的引种企业共计6个,往年都有20个以上,引种价格变化不大。据不完全统计,2014年我国至少有6次规模较大的种猪进口。
