The home of the Pueblo Indians in the southwestern United States is home to Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah. From 700 BC to the early 20th century, the cultures of these Indians are slow to change and have a stable cultural structure. There are also a large number of ethnographic materials for reference. They are ideal areas for understanding the social and cultural prehistoric cultures. Archeology here has been a leader throughout the Americas from the turn of the century: stratigraphy, sequential queuing, the establishment of regional chronological sequences, etc., all from this region. These efforts have allowed chronological passage of some periods through the strata
