农业劳动生产率的不断提高是由传统手工业向近代大工业过渡的基本动力。相比而言,由国内农业劳动生产率的不断提高带动传统手工业向近代大工业过渡的一般过程只在英国获得典型地体现,日本和中国都属于非西方的现代化后发国家,其由传统手工业向近代大工业的过渡表现出与英国大不相同的情形。英、日、中三国由传统手工业向近代大工业发展的过程之所以会产生如此巨大的差别,表现为完全不同的三种模式,与三国农业劳动生产率的状况有着直接的关系。
The continuous improvement of agricultural labor productivity is the basic motive force for the transition from the traditional handicraft industry to the modern big industry.
