小学生的数学学习过程是数学思想形成的过程,数学思想的形成离不开数学方法的应用。“数形结合”是一种重要的数学方法,它是通过“数”与“形”的相互转化和利用来解决数学问题的一种重要学习方法。“数缺形时少直观,形少数时难入微,数形结合百般好,隔离分家万事休。”这是大数学家华罗庚的至理名言。可见数形结合在数学中占有一定的地位。小学生对“数”的认识只是处于初级阶段,对“形”的认识也受思维的局限而难以拓展,我们教师作为学生学习的引导者,在数学教学中就得注意引导学生,在学习数学的过程中,学会把数与形结合到一起,去理解题意,解决数学问题,从而培养学生良好的数学思维品质。
