During the period of Chenghua, the emperor often circumvented the personnel election mechanism of the cabinet and the ministry and promoted officials through eunuchs and “imparting imperial edict”. Officials appointed in this way are named “Officials.” During this period, the number of officials promoted to the government increased continuously, the scope of their professorship was gradually expanded, and their development trend was becoming increasingly rampant. The reason for the proliferation of propaganda officers is very complicated. With the support and impetus of the court-led political forces led by the emperor, the comprador officials developed rapidly during the Chenghuaization era and brought a great negative impact on the current politics and society.
