冷江早苦瓜是冷水江市蔬菜研究所、蔬菜种子公司共同选育出的极早熟苦瓜。该品种具有极早熟、丰产、商品性好、品质优良等特点。于１９９７年７月通过娄底地区农作物品种审定委员会审定，并被认定为目前全国最具早熟性和丰产性于一体的苦瓜良种，近３年在本省各地及四川、贵州 Cold early bitter gourd is Lengshuijiang City Vegetable Research Institute, vegetable seed companies bred together very early bitter gourd.
