中子照相可以对具有放射性的核燃料元件进行无损检测。本工作采用核燃料元件模拟件在CARR中子束流水平孔道利用0.1 mm厚的Dy中子转换屏配合工业X射线胶片获得成像,进行了中子照相无损检测的模拟研究。利用检测成像发展了核燃料元件缺陷分析、包壳氢聚含量定量测量、芯块235U富集度定量测量等成像分析方法,为真实核燃料元件的检测打下基础。结果示于图1~3。图2模拟不同富集度芯块的中子照相成像
Neutron photography allows non-destructive testing of radioactive nuclear fuel elements. In this work, a nuclear fuel element simulation was used to simulate the neutron non-destructive neutron beam in the horizontal channel of CARR neutron beams by using 0.1 mm thick Dy neutron conversion screen with industrial X-ray film. The development of nuclear fuel element defect analysis, quantitative measurement of hydrogen storage content in cladding, quantitative measurement of 235U enrichment of core block, etc. were developed by means of detection imaging, which laid the foundation for the detection of real nuclear fuel elements.
