人类的思维与语言都是存在隐喻的,隐喻是通过一个概念领域的结构去体验另一个不同概念结构的学习方式。所以将概念隐喻应用于高校英语阅读课程中是非常有意义的,然而大部分高校英语阅读课程中,对概念隐喻的学习少之又少,没有具体的概念理论,也没有相应的实践方法,导致学生在阅读过程中,对英语文章的理解只停留在表面。
