The success of developing a parasite vaccine depends not only on the development of the vaccine itself but also on an effective immunization program, otherwise the vaccines developed do not necessarily contribute to public health. The authors believe that a full understanding of the epidemiological characteristics of parasitic diseases, vaccine delivery systems and their costs and benefits should be provided. The design of most viruses, bacteria and protozoan vaccines must take into account the age of primary infection of the host with the basal replication rate of the pathogen (R_0). The authors point out that a high population of people depends on three factors, namely, the R_0 value, the effectiveness of the vaccine, and the proportion of those who are immunized in susceptible populations. R_0 low value of the pathogen
