随着“三资”企业的不断发展,股份制改革的全面铺开,以及承包、租赁、抵押、保险等经济行为的与日增多,对资产现值做出公正的评定,也就越发显得迫切起来。于是乎一个新兴的服务行业——资产评估,开始频频受到社会各界的关注。为顺应这一形势的要求,广州市,到目前为止,已批准了广州资产评估公司、广州税务咨询公司及广州会计师事务所等10家机构具有资产评估资格。这些机构自授权办理评估业务以来,承担了大量的项目,仅去年一年就完成了571个项目,评估现值达164亿元。评估范围涉及到中外合资合作、企业股份制改造以及抵押贷款,保险赔偿、企业兼并等方面,在广州的经济建设中,起了不可低估的作用。

As a result, an emerging service industry, asset assessment, has begun to attract the attention of the community. In order to comply with the requirements of this situation, Guangzhou City has so far approved ten assets such as Guangzhou Assets Assessment Company, Guangzhou Tax Consultancy Company and Guangzhou Certified Public Accountants as qualified for asset evaluation. These institutions have undertaken a large number of projects since they authorized the evaluation business. Only 571 projects have been completed in the past year alone, and the assessed value is now 16.4 billion yuan. The scope of the assessment involves Sino-foreign joint ventures and cooperation, corporate shareholding system reforms, mortgage loans, insurance compensation, and mergers and acquisitions, etc. It has played a role that cannot be underestimated in the economic construction of Guangzhou.
