中国研究人员于2014年11月11日宣布,利用离子液体催化剂,从生物质衍生的γ-戊内酯(GVL)生产出研究法辛烷值(RON)为95.4的汽油燃料,这是已报道的生物质制汽油燃料最高的辛烷值。其工作论文已发表在“绿色化学(Green Chemistry)”RSC杂志上。在这项研究中,他们通过戊内酯进行脱羧反应生产丁烯,并后续使产生的丁烯与丁烷烷基化,使用[CF3CH2OBF3]作为一种高效催化剂,从而使生物质衍生的γ-戊内酯转化成汽油,见图1。获得的汽油富含三甲基戊烷(异辛烷),RON为95.4。
