泥石流灾害是灾区重大的地质灾害之一。给工程建设带来很多不利的影响。崇州市鸡冠山乡苟家大岩沟为泥石流多发段。泥石流具有规模较大、分布较广、发生频率高、致灾作用强烈的特点。本文通过系统分析工程区陡峻的地形条件、发育的区域构造、软硬相间的岩层、广泛分布的堆积物、降雨量降雨集中的气候条件、地震对泥石流的影响,揭示了崇州市鸡冠山乡苟家大岩沟泥石流的成因。为本地区的工程建设提供了指导意义,也为同类地区的泥石流的成因提供了借鉴意义。
