The malaria epidemic rate in Guizhou province dropped from 5.80 / million in 1981 to 0.63 / million in 1996 at the provincial level. The incidence of malaria in Guizhou Province dropped by 88% in the past 17 years. However, in different regions with different media, the decline range is quite different, mainly due to the different energies of different Anopheles vectors, resulting in different levels of malaria prevalence.
