This article describes a method of recording the electrical activity of guinea pigs in the subgingival ganglion (IMG) cells and the preliminary results observed with this method. Studies have shown that this method is simple and easy, and can often obtain stable, high quality intracellular recording for half an hour to several hours. In shallow sodium pentobarbital anesthesia conditions, 95% of mesenteric ganglion cells spontaneous, asynchronous fast excitatory synaptic potential activity, about 52% of the cells to a threshold, causing 0.2 to 12 times / s uneven Spontaneous discharge. This spontaneous tension-induced synaptic electrical activity is mainly caused by the release of neurotransmitters from the cholinergic presynaptic terminals.
