《全国绿化委员会、林业部、交通部、铁道部关于在全国范围内大力开展绿色通道工程建设的通知》下发以后,我省各级政府,把绿色通道工程建设当做生态工程、形象工程、致富工程来抓,以京深高速公路、京九铁路为重点的绿色通道工程建设,初战告捷。据初步统计,京深高速公路已绿化植树90.5万株,其中主干林带植树58.6万株,两侧林网植树31.9万株;京九铁路绿化植树184.6万株。

According to preliminary statistics, there are 905,000 green trees planted along the Beijing-Shenzhen Expressway, including 586,000 trees planted in trunk belts, 319,000 trees planted on both sides of the forest network, and 1,846,000 trees planted on the Beijing-Kowloon Railway.
