新晃县地处我国西南云贵高原苗岭余脉延伸末端的湘黔边界,是湖南省旱杂粮生产示范重点县,同时也是湖南省植保植检站的玉米病虫害系统观察监测点之一。玉米是本县主要粮食作物之一,常年种植面积约8万亩,玉米病虫害种类较多,为害程度较重,玉米生产受到较大影响。2011~2013年在摸清全县玉米主要病虫发生为害特点的基础上在全县范围内开展了主要病虫害系统观察监测以及综合防治试验示范,取得了较好的成效。
Xinhuang County, located in the border between Hunan and Guizhou at the extension end of the Miaoling Mountains in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, is one of the key counties in dry grain production in Hunan Province. It is also one of the observation and monitoring points for the system of maize pests and diseases at the plant protection and phytosanitary station in Hunan Province. Corn is one of the main grain crops in this county. The perennial planting area is about 80,000 mu. There are many kinds of maize pests and diseases, and the degree of damage is serious. The corn production is greatly affected. From 2011 to 2013, the main pests and diseases system observation and monitoring and comprehensive prevention and control demonstration were conducted in the whole county based on the characteristics of the main pests and diseases of corn in the whole county from 2011 to 2013, and achieved good results.
