青浦县是上海市西郊一个秀丽的鱼米之乡,可是教育一直落后,特别是经过十年动乱,经济惨遭破坏,教育更是满目疮痍,教学质量处于全市各区县之末。1977年10月,我们以初中一、二年级的数学常见题,对全县中学最高年级的4373名学生进行了一次统测,了解我县数学教学质量的现状。统测的结果令人震惊:总平均成绩只有11.1分,零分学生达23.5%,约有三分之二的学生连小学分数运算都不熟练。面对这种状况,我们应该怎么办?1977年,我们在学科教研组的基础上,成立了数学教改实验小组,下定决心改变青浦县数学教学的落后面貌。开始时有的同志认为,青浦县教育基础差,师资力量弱,学生起点低,要改变如此落后的面貌希望不大;也有的同志提出,抓高年级“尖子”学生,搞大运动量训练,才能提高教学质量。通过学习党的教育方针
Qingpu County is a beautiful land of fish and rice in the western suburbs of Shanghai. However, education has lagged behind. Especially after decades of turmoil and economic destruction, education is devastating. The quality of teaching is at the end of the districts and counties in the city. In October 1977, we conducted a survey of 4373 students in the highest grade in the county with the common math problems in the first and second grades of junior high school to understand the current situation of the quality of mathematics teaching in our county.
