怀集具有光荣的革命历史。在第一、二次国内革命战争中,怀集人民谱写了可歌可泣的革命篇章。抗日战争时期,怀集人民为抗日救亡又进行了一系列不屈不挠的战斗。抗战胜利后,中共怀集党组织又带领怀集人民与国民党进行了坚决的斗争,最后取得了怀集的解放。抗日战争胜利后,面对国民党发动的全面内战,中共怀集县党组织在中共广西省工委和粤桂湘边区工委的领导下,与国民党当局进行了针锋相对的斗争。
Huaiji has a glorious history of revolution. In the first and second internal revolutionary wars, Huaiji people wrote epic revolutionary chapters. During the Anti-Japanese War, Huaiji people carried out a series of indomitable battles against Japan and the United States. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the CPC Huaihui Party Organization led the Huaiji people and the Kuomintang in a resolute struggle and finally achieved the liberation of Huaiji. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, facing the all-out civil war launched by the Kuomintang, the CPC Huaiji County Party Organization conducted a tit-for-tat struggle against the Kuomintang authorities under the leadership of the CPC Guangxi Provincial Committee and the Guangdong-Guangxi Xiangbian District Working Committee.
