Subluxation and synovial entrapment of thelumbar facet joints usually occur following lateralrotational movement in an inappropriate posturewhile bending forward.We have treated 75 casesof subluxation and 28 cases of synovial entrap-ment of the lumbar facet joints using the lateralrotary manipulative maneuver with satisfactoryresults.
