2001年6月19日,安徽省淮北市人民检察院将涉嫌犯玩忽职守罪的该市公安局局长、党委书记卢全新刑事拘留,从此揭开了淮北市公安系统违法犯罪问题的盖子。随后,经过侦查,检察机关在淮北市公安系统挖出了37名涉嫌贪赃枉法、行贿、受贿的干警,其中公安分局长级以上干部24人。此案的侦破,在安徽上下引起强烈反响,社会各界十分关注。
On June 19, 2001, Huaibei People’s Procuratorate of Anhui Province arrested the criminal detention of Secretary of the Public Security Bureau and Party Secretary Lu of the city suspected of being guilty of dereliction of duty, and opened the lid on the crimes and crimes committed by the public security system in Huaibei City.
