马定夫(1915—1943),原名马镇西,号马丁,山西省榆社东汇村人。抗日战争期间任八路军第一二九师新编十旅三十团政委,受命率部队保卫夏收,驻太谷、祁县、榆次一带。1943年7月22日,太谷县六区政府为答谢30团,保卫夏收的胜利,在枫子岭村召开军民联欢会,因当地汉奸告密,军民受到日伪军的重重包围。危急之际,马定夫下令部队:“有我们在,决不能让一个群众受到伤害!”千余名群众全部被安全转移,但马定夫等12名指战员,在与日军激战中壮烈牺牲。
Ma Dingfu (1915-1943), formerly known as horse town West, Martin, Yushe East Village, Shanxi Province. During the Anti-Japanese War, Eighth Route Army first two nine division new ten brigade thirty regiment commissar, ordered the troops to defend the summer harvest, in Taigu, Qixian, Yuci area. On July 22, 1943, the six districts of Taigu County Government paid tribute to the 30th Regiment to defend the victory of the summer harvest and held a military and civilian gathering in the Feng Ziling Village. As a result of the local traitors, the soldiers and civilians were heavily surrounded by Japanese and puppet troops. On the occasion of crisis, Madain ordered troops: “We are here and we must not let any one people be harmed!” More than a thousand people were all safely transferred, but 12 officers and soldiers including Ma Yandu died in a fierce battle with the Japanese army.
