顺应论以全新的角度考察语言的使用,并发现语言的使用是一个根据语境进行不断选择以顺应交际目的的过程。应用顺应论分析文学作品翻译中译者为顺应语言语境和交际语境,有效传递文化信息而做出的语言选择,为文化翻译和文化交流开辟一条新的途径。
Adaptation Theory examines the use of language from a new perspective and finds that the use of language is a process of continually selecting contextual communicative purposes according to context. Using Adaptation Theory to analyze the linguistic choices made by translators in response to linguistic contexts and communicative contexts in the translation of literary works and the effective transmission of cultural information, a new approach for cultural translation and cultural exchange is opened up.
