Organized by Materials Science Branch of China Metallurgical Society and undertaken by Suzhou Science and Technology Institute, the Tenth National Conference on Solid Phase Transformation and Solidification was held in Suzhou from May 16 to May 20, 2012. The meeting invited Academician Xu Zuyao of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Academician Fu Hengzhi of Northwestern Polytechnical University and Academician Xu Huibin of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics for their excellent academic reports.
