我公司技术组自1978年起,两年来先后在排市、潘桥、白沙、木港等地进行酿热温室育秧试验,经全县大面积试验推广和有关部门考察鉴定,确认此项试验已基本取得成功。酿热温室育秧,就是不用烧火,用绿色植物作为能源,按照无土育秧的办法培育秧苗。两年来,经多次试验研究,我们利用原来无土育秧的温室,沿着室内的墙脚,下挖2.5尺深的堆制坑,坑内每平方米挖一个十字沟。同时挖一条通气孔,通向室外。在十字沟上铺设一层树枝或棉秆,其上再将已经湿润的稻草或猪、牛栏垫草加人粪尿,按3:17:2的比例自然堆放,让其发热升温,三天后室内温度就可达到育秧的要求,可按照无土育秧的方法进行育秧。
