从黄河下游断流造成的经济损失、断流对河道冲淤及防洪的影响、断流对下游生态环境的影响几个方面进行了分析研究。认为黄河下游频繁断流，严重影响着下游沿黄地区工农业生产和人民生活，对黄河防汛及河口三角洲生态环境也有不利的影响。
From the economic losses caused by the cutoff in the lower reaches of the Yellow River, the influence of cutoff on river scouring and siltation and flood control, and the influence of cutoff on the ecological environment in the downstream, several aspects are analyzed and studied. It is considered that frequent cutoffs in the lower reaches of the Yellow River seriously affect the industrial and agricultural production and people’s livelihood in the downstream areas along the Yellow River and have an adverse effect on the flood control in the Yellow River and the ecological environment in the estuary delta.
