第四次全国遥感地质学术讨论会宣读论文共129篇。这些论文,显示了我国广大遥感地质工作者,借鉴国外先进技术、结合我国具体情况,紧密与矿产资源勘测工作、地质构造研究工作及与人们赖以生存的周围环境(地质灾害预测)相联系的深化研究结果。通过大量实践,总结出一套适宜我国国情的遥感地质工作方法及研究方法。其中包括:①以遥感信息为主、多学科信息综合分析成矿地质环境的遥感地质研究方法;②遥感技术、区域成矿地质、地球物理场勤测联合野外调查的评价方法;③多元信息叠置图象处理及计算机-光学联合图象处理方法;④由整体到局部多层次的遥感地质找矿体系正在形成,为近-中期的矿产资源勘测规划,提供了可靠的科学依据。
