课堂提问是指课堂教学过程中,教师根据一定的教学目标和要求,针对有关教学内容,设置一系列的问题情境,引导学生思考、回答,以促进学生积极思维,提高教学质量。正如美国教学法专家斯特林·卡尔汉所提出的:“提问是教师促进学生思维,评价教学效果以及推动学生实现预期目标的基本控制手段。”然而就我所了解的情况而言,课堂提问的作用显然还没有得到应有的发挥,具体来说,一是以简单的集体应答取代学生深入的思维活动,形成学生思维的虚假活跃;二是重结论轻过程,提问流于形式,用优生的思维代替全班学生的思维.三是忽视对问题的精心设计和组织,教师的提问具有较大的随意性,
