城市交通在城市经济社会活动中具有极为重要的地位和作用。对于城市交通应以公共交通还是以私人交通为主的问题,目前在我国理论界及现实中还没有明确认识。对于有十多亿人口的中国,公共交通应当是我国发展城市交通的理性选择。
Urban traffic plays an extremely important role in the economic and social activities of the city. At present, there is no clear understanding of whether urban transport should be based on public transport or private transport. For China, with a population of more than 1 billion, public transport should be a rational choice for developing urban transport in our country.
