“Taiwan · 1945” is a documentary documentary on historical documents completed through deep cooperation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait in television agencies and is the first video recording of all-round reproduction of Taiwan’s recovery. The film interviewed more than 100 historical parties and sought more than 1,000 rare historical materials from dozens of archives at home and abroad. For the first time, many little-known stories were disclosed, leaving precious national memories for the Chinese nation . The number of historical parties and experts and scholars appearing in the film is almost the same across the Taiwan Strait. The historical records used by the film come from Taiwan more than twice as many as those from the Mainland. In addition, there are a large number of documents and experts from the United States and Japan. These factors undoubtedly increase the dissemination power and influence of the film in Taiwan. They also fully demonstrate that both sides of the Taiwan Strait “share historical materials, write history books together and jointly safeguard national dignity and honor.”
