数字技术的进展对雷达信号处理产生了深刻的影响。结果,很多过去看来麻烦或无法实现的技术现在可以采用了,其复杂性适度,成本合理。现代数字技术加上低副瓣天线与固态发射机是当前雷达设计中最有意义的一些进展。 本文评述了现代脉冲搜索雷达中某些关键的信号处理技术。讨论中着重于系统上的考虑和它们的功能特性。唯一涉及到的硬件部份是A/D变换过程。这一变换对于将模拟的中频雷达信号准确地转换为等效的复数字信号是十分关键的。
The advances in digital technology have had a profound impact on radar signal processing. As a result, many of the technologies that used to look cumbersome or unattainable in the past are now available, of a modest complexity and at a reasonable cost. Modern digital technology coupled with low sidelobe antennas and solid-state transmitters are some of the most significant advances in current radar design. This article reviews some of the key signal processing techniques used in modern pulse search radars. The discussion focuses on system considerations and their functional characteristics. The only hardware involved is the A / D conversion process. This transformation is crucial to accurately convert the simulated IF radar signal to an equivalent complex digital signal.
