在当下,代际命名已然成为大众传媒和批评界观察、批评当代文学的一个重要而独特的视角,一方面,从理论和文学创作实际来说,当代作家的代际命名具有一定合法性;另一方面,由于概念本身的局限性,这一命名也潜藏着诸多问题,这主要体现为代际划分会造成忽略文学的普遍价值和共通性,代际视角所产生的排他性和遮蔽性,强调代际所导致的反抗者为了强调自己的差异性,而去矮化、消解甚至排斥其他作家等。对于作家代际命名的理性认知,有利于作家们相互借鉴与认同,也利于我们更恰当地看待作家之间的代际差异和冲突。
