Recently, in the “Enterprise Energy Balance” measurement campaign, we measured the equipment efficiency of the compressed air system, the leakage rate of the pipeline network, and the energy utilization rate. It was found out that the compressed air system consumes a lot of energy, has serious leakage and low energy utilization. For this reason, the factory has taken many measures to reduce energy consumption and save energy. First, the energy-saving potential of compressed air systems is very large. Compressed air is air compressed by the compressor into a gas with pressure energy, as a test gas source, driving wind motives, automatic control instruments and automation devices. Because air has the characteristics of compressibility, convenient transportation, and no danger of fire, it is safer than steam and direct use of electricity. Therefore, compressed air is widely used in machinery manufacturing, mining, construction, and chemical engineering.
