魔灯基金会(Magic Lantern Foundation)魔灯基金会于1989年作为媒体行动团队成立,其目标在于使用沟通工具来促进人权,并使边缘化人群为他们面临的问题发声在这一过程中,他们逐渐认识到视觉影像媒体(尤其是影像)作为促成社会议题的了解,并开展讨论、辩论的重要性魔灯的目标在于通过为印度及国外的独立电影提供更多制作、推广、发行、展览渠道,扩展独立电影的受众与可能性魔灯基金会是此次“你不属于:印度电影的过去与未来”(西天中土2011)的印度合作方(http://magiclanternfoundation org/)
